J. Cole Drops A Freestyle Over Nas’ “Oochie Wally” Called “Album Of The Year”

Well it shows up J. Cole wasn’t playing around yesterday when he bounced on Twitter and moved toward fans for a couple of beats. “Feed me beats. Everything gettin killed,” he tweeted out, and hardly 24 hours sometime later we’re respected with just that, some new warmth.

Unexpectedly, Jermaine handles Nas and The Bravehearts‘ hit instrumental “Ooochie Wally” for his latest free-form “Album Of The Year,” which is accompanied with another video as well. Filling in as his first release since K.O.D, Jermaine passes on a 2-minute melodious flood that finds him rapping about having the “Album of the year,” making business plans, and marking Bas and J.I.D to Dreamville, notwithstanding different things. He even gets out young rappers at the same time, spitting, “Lil’ rappers, I love you, however you ain’t shit’til you got offers in Prague.”

Quoted Lyrics

Don’t want to fuck up my vibe
Let’s end it on a positive note, come see me live
KOD, album of the year, undebatably
My cadence be the greatest we’ve seen since the late MC who’s name was The Notorious
Dreamville stacked like the Warriors
Winning back to back
Next up to bat is my nigga Bas
After that Jiddy-J.I.D
That’s that New York City kid plus ATL
Me, I’m from the ‘Ville┬ábut I know them towns well
Before I had a deal I was givin’ niggas hell
Now I’m givin’ niggas deals and they givin’ niggas hell
